During the week of December 19, Web Services will be updating the current college template set in order to complement the launch of new LiquidMatrix-enhanced sections and provide increased accessibility and standards compliance. These changes will eventually offer content publishers greater flexibility in the presentation and layout of individual pages. Those pages located within home directories will not be affected.
During and after this time, you will find that your ability to administer applicable pages/sections of the web site has been disallowed. Please understand that this is a temporary situation that can easily be remedied–following the completion of the aforementioned updates on December 23–by simply contacting Web Services. If you choose not to contact Web Services, your access to the affected pages/sections will remain suspended.
It is also important to note that content in the updated template set may have its appearance altered to some minor degree. If you find any of these changes to be unbearably detrimental to the overall presentation of a page (text is illegible, or the page appears “broken”), please notify Web Services immediately.
Finally, in order to alleviate potential problems and answer questions that arise during this transition, Web Services will be holding a series of workshops for content publishers and other interested personnel.
We appreciate your patience and continued collaboration during this process. If you have any related questions, please contact a member of Web Services at your earliest convenience.
