New Content Management System Posted on November 18th, 2014 by

ConcertAdobe Contribute’s days are numbered, and we couldn’t be happier. We’re glad to announce that we’ll soon be rolling out our new content management system, Concert. In the upcoming weeks and months, you’ll have the opportunity to test and use Concert. Since it’s new, and since we have a bit more control over it, we’d appreciate your feedback. No idea or bug is too small to mention.

What’s Better

  • Browser-based editing
  • Better revision system
  • Digital asset management
  • Improved user access control
  • Ability to share page drafts
  • Built-in notifications
  • Ability to add collaborators
  • And much more…

Overall, we think Concert will provide a vastly superior experience for users. That, combined with the knowledge that we can actively improve upon the platform, makes us very excited to begin testing. Send us a message if you’d like to be an early adopter.

Wow, a new CMS! This sounds like quite an enhancement. Is Concert developed by an outside team, or something you created in house?

Is it database-driven, or are changes written to flat files?

    Sounds like a cool project!

Thanks, Tom! It should be a noticeable improvement. Concert is something we’re developing and we’re pretty excited to roll it out. I hope all is well!
