Have you ever gone to the Gribly, made a couple of searches, and hit the back button only to return to the page you were at before you even went to the Gribly? That’s not what you expected, right? Frustrated? We hear you.
This is a frequent problem in applications designed like the Gribly (i.e. web applications that use AJAX) and is commonly referred to as “breaking the back button.” This is a big no-no, but is typically difficult to gracefully solve.
We have been hard at work on a solution to fix the back button in our applications. Starting right now, you can use your browser’s back button to navigate around our web applications like the Gribly. Enjoy!
