The Gustavus RSS feeds received a facelift today through the magic of XSLT. To improve usability, when visitors access an RSS feed they will now be presented with an informative page containing useful instructions on how to use RSS instead of merely the RSS source code. Additionally, to promote the adoptation and recognition of the official, standard RSS icon, we have included is largely and prominently on each feed’s page. This will cause users to associate the icon with the product itself, which is beneficial for everyone.

We hope that this change will serve our users better by helping them learn about and start using RSS feeds. If you don’t really know what RSS is, you would be doing yourself a big favor learning about it a bit. If you would like more information on RSS or XSLT, Wikipedia has some great resources:
